So, I decided I would start a blog.  I have done blogs before and, well, they don't usually work out. I hope this is different.  What I hope to share with my blog is just a glimpse into my very ordinary life and the faith that lives there.  I am a very real person with very real struggles but above all, I have a very real Savior who sees me through it all.

So, with my first post, let me start with an introduction to myself.  My life is very plain, very ordinary, and very uneventful. I know, most of those terms would be relative terms in reference to life. But I love my ordinary life. I am not a funny, witty, or sarcastic person so you probably won't find a lot of laugh out loud things that I write. I try to be funny but it usually doesn't work out that way. Instead, I usually get blank stares.

I have a bachelor's degree in political science but these days I am more disgusted at politics than anything.  But, every once in a while, you might just see a political reference or a history reference.  My life mainly centers around my faith and everything that entails: from raising my children to being the wife of a youth minister to figuring out where I am called to serve in our church to my personal walk with Christ and everything else that my faith may entail.  I have a TON of oddities about myself and every once in a while, they will probably take center stage on my blog.

So, what is my goal here. Well, my personal goal is basically to have a journal. I just want to be able to journal things going on in my life, my mind, my heart, my faith, and my family.  Should anyone choose to read this blog, I hope they walk away feeling encouraged in some way.
